Deandra Spinner is a Writer, Director, Editor and Photographer hailing from Orlando, FL. In 2006 she relocated to Los Angeles, CA to attend The Los Angeles Film School with a focus in directing and editing. During her stint at the school she both wrote and directed several projects.
Prior to relocating to California, she worked for Clear Channel Communications in Marketing and Promotions where she contributed to the success of numerous concert festivals and charity events. These shows featured major-label artists and bands and were attended by thousands of fans.
Having a deep and sustained interest in all aspects of the entertainment industry, Deandra briefly attended Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida where she studied Recording Arts and Paul Mitchell The School in Casselberry, Florida where she studied Cosmetology. Throughout her childhood she pursued acting, singing, dancing, theater and was a finalist in the Florida State Music Competition at the University of Central Florida.
Since her departure from film school in August of 2007, Deandra has continued to produce, write, direct, edit and/or photograph on various projects. Her credits include directing and editing a music video for Recording Artist Chad Carr which starred Chrystina Sayers (formerly in Girlicious), photographing Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist & Producer Kevin McCall (“Deuces” with Chris Brown and Tyga) and her work was featured both on the cover and throughout the premiere issue of R&B magazine.
